WJ Surgical, LLC is a veteran owned, Native American owned medical supply company that markets medical devices for use in a variety of applications. The primary applications of WJ Surgical's products are neurosurgery, reconstructive surgery, and general surgery. WJ Surgical is headquartered on the Oneida Nation of Indians of Wisconsin located in Oneida, Wisconsin.

President W. James Van Stippen is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation, a federally recognized tribe. The Onyota'a'ka (Oneida) means "the People of the Upright Stone, or standing stone," are a Native American tribe that was one of the five founding nations of the Haudenosaunee better known as the Iroquois Confederacy in the area of upstate New York. The Oneida Reservation is located southwest of the city of Green Bay. It straddles the boundary of Brown and Outagamie Counties and includes all or portions of the City of Green Bay, Villages of Ashwaubenon and Howard, and the Towns of Hobart, Oneida, and Pittsfield.

Van Stippen is a Vietnam era veteran in the 5th Army 4442nd Single Battalion HQ 29th Single Battalion Support USASTRATCOM as a Communication Specialist. He has received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration as well as a Masters of Science in Business Organization from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He has been employed be the Oneida Nation for the past 22 years working in several different aspects of tribal business. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Oneida Airport Hotel Corporation which manages the Radisson Hotel and Wingate Hotel located on the Oneida Reservation of which he has been a member of the Board of Directors for the past 20 years – the longest serving member. Van Stippen is also serving as the Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Town of Buchannan in Outagamie, Wisconsin.
